What we Offer

Establish fit for purpose bursary and scholarship programmes (including strategy and policy formation).

  • Sourcing the beneficiaries of the Bursary scheme from the designated groups and areas ( rural, youth, and students living with disabilities).
  • Managing the administration thereof and relationship with respective universities.
  • Ensure Compliance in terms of BBBEE with a focused approach to make sure the verification pack is accurate to your needs and attains maximum benefit for your targets.
  • Flexibility: we offer clients full access to our services throughout the year. This means that we are flexible should a new funder wish to start funding students, or an existing funder wishes to add more students to their bursary fund at any point during the year.
  • Student-centric approach, our focus is making sure the wellbeing of students and funders can be assured that the student’s journey in university is taken care of, including ensuring suitable accommodation is in place with University accredited accommodation providers. We report on each student and have the funder’s unique reporting cycles in mind.

Problem Addressed

Statistics show that an average of only 30% of contact students in South African Public universities complete a three years degree in regulated time. This means that although there is access to tertiary education, those students are not likely to exit the system quickly enough to give way to others.

This poor university throughput and pass rates has ripple effects, where money spent in higher education is wasted on non-graduating students. The problem is not different even for bursary funders. The cost of students not completing or taking longer to complete is not budgeted for and we aim to minimize that cost and remove the administrative burden of managing an in-house bursary scheme.
